Organizations, buildings, and scope
Sicket is built around buildings. Most daily work happens inside a selected building scope.
Organization
Section titled “Organization”An organization owns the Sicket account, plan, billing, staff users, and buildings.
Building
Section titled “Building”A building contains units, tenants, tickets, announcements, news posts, banners, and knowledge base visibility.
Current scope
Section titled “Current scope”The current scope selector is in the dashboard sidebar.
Use it to choose:
All Buildings, when you want a portfolio overview.- one building, when you want to manage only that building.
How scope affects pages
Section titled “How scope affects pages”When a building is selected, staff pages should show data for that building only.
When All Buildings is selected, organization admins see a portfolio view across buildings. Landlords only see buildings assigned to them.
Tenant scope
Section titled “Tenant scope”Tenants do not choose between buildings in normal use. A tenant sees the building and unit connected to their account.
Why this matters
Section titled “Why this matters”Scope prevents unrelated building data from mixing together. It also controls which staff users receive building-related notifications.
