Personal vs community tickets
What this guide helps you do
Section titled “What this guide helps you do”Understand when to create a personal ticket and when to create a community ticket.
Personal tickets
Section titled “Personal tickets”Use a personal ticket when the issue is private or only affects your unit.
Examples:
- leak inside your apartment
- broken appliance inside your unit
- personal access issue
- private question for staff
Other tenants do not see personal tickets.
Community tickets
Section titled “Community tickets”Use a community ticket when the issue affects shared areas or other residents may benefit from visibility.
Examples:
- elevator outage
- front door lock problem
- hallway light broken
- shared laundry equipment issue
- common area cleaning problem
Other tenants in the same building may see community tickets if visibility is enabled.
Anonymous community tickets
Section titled “Anonymous community tickets”Anonymous community tickets hide your identity from other tenants.
Staff can still see enough information to manage the issue.
Choosing safely
Section titled “Choosing safely”If you are unsure, choose personal. Staff can still handle the issue and decide what communication is needed.
